First-Year Apply Guide

As a first-year, first-time college student, you can apply through our Common App profile. You’ll want to set aside approximately one hour to complete your application.

Don’t worry, if you can’t complete it in one sitting, you can return to complete a previously started application at your convenience. Apply early to avoid lengthy visa wait times!

*First-year students interested in joining our Fall 2027 incoming class on main campus are strongly encouraged to apply by our Early Action deadline of November 1. Applications received after November 1 will move to a Regular Decision deadline and be considered on a space-available basis.

Transcripts

Unofficial secondary/high school transcripts may be used for the initial admission evaluation. Official transcripts or official exam results are required at the time of enrollment. If a transcript is not in English, a certified English translation must accompany the transcript.

Proof of English Proficiency

Proof of English proficiency is required. Visit the English Proficiency page to learn how to complete this requirement.

Admission Criteria

Strong applicants will have a minimum recalculated grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 over the course of their last three years of academic coursework. GPA recalculation takes place during admission review; please see the table below for country-specific grade equivalencies. Prior to enrollment, students must obtain a high school diploma, certificate, or GED.

What to expect after submitting your application

Check Status

You can check the status of your application by logging into your Future Wildcat portal.

Early Action

If you submit your completed application by our Early Action deadline of November 1 (fall starts only), you will receive an admission decision by mid-January. At that point, you may accept or decline your offer by May 1.

Regular Decision

If your application is submitted after November 1 (fall starts only), it will move to a Regular Decision timeline. Regular decisions will be released in batches on a space-available basis during the spring after Early Action decisions have been announced.
